In January 2012, Anonymous hacked into the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department website and posted personal information about more than 2,000 deputies online. The group has attacked other targets such as MasterCard and Visa over their perceived support for Israel and Egypt’s military regimes. It has also taken credit for hacking into servers belonging to Bank of America and PayPal earlier this year in an attempt to promote WikiLeaks’ release of classified government documents about war crimes committed by both countries’ armies during the recent Gaza War.”

He was born in England in 1985 and grew up in the city of Bristol. He studied at King’s College London where he earned his degree in Economics. He then went on to earn his masters degree from New York University before moving back to London where he worked as an analyst for Goldman Sachs until 2011 when he quit his job due to frustration with working for banks. Guy Fawkes’ beliefs were shaped by George Orwell’s novel 1984 which he read when he was just 11 years old (1984). In this book, Orwell describes a totalitarian state where there are no freedoms whatsoever and citizens are forced to live under constant surveillance at all times by the government.
